BetBuilder Rules


1.1
BetBuilder bets placed on Football apply to 90 minutes plus injury time. Match officials determine whether the full 90 minutes and injury time is to be played or has been played.

1.2
Minimum selection of events 2+.

1.3
If a placed bet includes a player that does not take any part in the event, then the whole bet will be settled as void, regardless of the rest of the selections within the bet.

1.4.1.
The Company is not liable and will not be held responsible for mistakes or faults regarding bets placed including and not limited to the following cases:
(a) There is an obvious mistake in odds/handicap/totals.
(b) The Company mistakenly accepts bets on markets that are closed or blocked.
(c) There is mistake in the calculation and/or payment of a settled bet.

1.4.2.
For ‘Obvious Mistakes’ regarding odds, the Company retains the right to settle such bets as Void if the Company deems that they have been placed at incorrect odds. Cases of obvious mistake are and not limited to:
(a) The odds are different from the actual and correct odds of the market at the time the bet was placed.
(b) The odds regarding the selected event, market or bet type are clearly incorrect in relation to the possible outcome at the time the bet was placed.

1.4.3.
‘Incorrect Odds’ refers to incorrect odds provided before, during and after a specific event that may affect the bet placed. The Company retains the right to settle such bets as void at its own discretion.

1.4.4.
‘Incorrect Count’ regarding Goal Line/Handicap/Totals refers to an obvious and verified mistake that may occur before, during and after a specific event. The Company retains the right to settle such bets as Void at its own discretion.

1.4.5.
‘Incorrect Data’ refers to cases where there is a mistake in the data provided regarding an event, market or bet type (e.g. the name of a player or team). The Company retains the right to settle such bets as Void at its own discretion.

1.4.6.
‘Delayed Bets’ refers to bets that for any reason have mistakenly been accepted by the Company while the event, market or bet type has already begun. In such cases the bets will be settled as Void.

1.5
If an event is permanently suspended, then all selections that have been settled before suspension will be deemed valid (e.g. number of goals or halftime result). All other bets whose outcome has not been settled before suspension will be deemed as Void. ‘Permanently suspended’ refers to events that a final result is not available within 48 hours of the designated start time.

1.6
For bets placed with BetBuilder the cash-out option is not available.

1.7
Maximum payment for bets placed with BetBuilder is set at €20,000.

Bet Types

2.1 Who will win the match? You are betting on the result, e.g. Team A, Draw or Team B (90 minutes plus injury time).

2.2 Who will score? You are betting on whether a nominated player will score a goal (90 minutes plus injury time). In abandoned matches, any player who has already scored at the time of abandonment will be settled as a winner (in relation to this market). If the named player does not take part in the match, bets on that player will be made void. If the player takes any part in the match, bets will stand.

2.3 Who will get carded? You are betting on whether the nominated player will receive a Yellow or Red Card (90 minutes plus injury time).
If the named player does not take part in the match, bets on that player will be made void If the player takes any part in the match, bets will stand.
Only cards shown to players currently on the pitch within the match will count. Cards shown to managers, players on the bench or after the match do not count. If the player does not play, bets taken on the player will be made void.

2.4 How many corners? You are betting on whether the total number of corners will be above or below the numbers quoted (90 minutes plus injury time).
Only corners that are taken will count. If a corner is re-taken, it will only count as one corner.

2.5 How many booking points? You are betting on whether total number of Booking Points is above (Over) or below (Under) the stated Booking Points (90 minutes plus injury time). Every yellow card counts as 10 Booking Points and every red card counts as 25 Booking Points. A player receiving two yellows and consequently a red card, it counts as 35 Booking Points (10 points for the first yellow card and 25 points for the second yellow card = red card). Only cards shown to players currently on the pitch will count. Cards shown to managers or substitutes do not count towards the total.

2.6 Will both teams score in the match? You are betting on whether both teams will score at least one goal each (90 minutes plus injury time).

2.7 What will the score be? You are betting on what the score will be (90 minutes plus injury time).

2.8 How many goals? You are betting on whether the total number of goals will be above (Over) or below (Under) the stated total (90 minutes plus injury time).

2.9 What else will happen? You are betting on whether a nominated match event will occur (90 minutes plus injury time) including:
Penalty awarded.
Penalty missed. This is any penalty taken that does not result in a goal from that kick.
Penalty scored. his is any penalty taken that results in a goal directly from this kick.
Free-kick goal. Any bets involving free-kick goals must be scored directly from a free-kick.
Sending off. Only cards awarded once the player is active in the match will count. Any cards shown after the final whistle do not count.

2.10 How many team goals? You are betting whether the total number of a nominated team goals in the match will be above (Over) or below (Under) the stated total (90 minutes plus injury time).

2.11 How will a team win? You are betting on by what margin a nominated team will win (90 minutes plus injury time).

2.12 How many team booking points? You are betting on whether total number of Booking Points for your nominated team/teams is above (Over) or below (Under) the stated Booking Points (90 minutes plus injury time). Every yellow card counts as 10 Booking Points and every red card counts as 25 Booking Points. A player receiving two yellows and consequently a red card, it counts as 35 Booking Points (10 points for the first yellow card and 25 points for the second yellow card = red card). Only cards shown to players currently on the pitch will count. Cards shown to managers or substitutes do not count towards the total.

2.13 How many team corners? You are betting on whether the total number of corners taken by your nominated team/teams will be above (Over) or below (Under) the numbers quoted (90 minutes plus injury time. 2.14 What else will happen to the teams? You are betting on whether a nominated match event will occur to a nominated team (90 minutes plus injury time) including:
Penalty awarded.

Penalty scored. his is any penalty taken that results in a goal directly from this kick.
Free-kick goal. Any bets involving free-kick goals must be scored directly from a free-kick.

2.15 When will a player score? You are betting on which player will score the first, last or any goal within the match or on either half (90 minutes plus injury time). Bets will be settled according to which player scores the first/last goal for their own team during the match. Own goals do not count. If your player has not participated in the match at the point the first goal is scored, bets will be made void. If your player has participated in the match before or during the time the first/last goal is scored, related bets will stand.

2.16 How many player goals? You are betting on whether the nominated player will score 1+/2+ or 3+ goals in the match (90 minutes plus injury time). Own goals are excluded.

2.17 How will a player score? You are betting on the method by which the nominated player will score (90 minutes plus injury time), with the following options available:
Header – the nominated player scores a goal that is classed as coming off the player’s head or shoulder, whether it is intentional or not.
Outside of the box – the nominated player scores from outside of the 18-yard penalty area for their own team.

2.18 Who will get carded or sent off? You are betting on whether a nominated player will receive a yellow or red card (90 minutes plus injury time).
Only cards awarded once the player is active in the match will count. Any cards shown after the final whistle or during the half time period do not count.
Cards shown before kick-off, during the half time interval or after full time will not count. Cards shown to players or officials who do not constitute active on-field players do not count.
